Isabelle and Madeline: January 2011

2 years old

Dear Isabelle,

I am a little late in writing this letter to you, it has been a little crazy around here. You have grown up so much in the past year. This time last year you were barely walking, now you run everywhere and we have a hard time getting you to walk! You finally have 11 teeth, took you long enough :-) We have moved you into your big girl room and you love it. As I write this I hear you talking away to yourself in your room as you are going down for a nap, you LOVE to talk, just like your mom when she was little. Where did my tiny baby go??

You now have a little sister, Madeline, who you just adore. You call her "my Maddie" and are always trying to help mommy and daddy with her by either giving her a nuk or a blanket. Every night you have to give her a hug and kiss goodnight, I hope you two grow up to be the best of friends.

Today we had your 2 year old check-up you are 34 inches long and 22 lbs 10 oz. They say if you double your hight right now that is about how tall you will be so you will be about 5ft 7/8 if they are correct.

Isabelle, you are one of the best things to happen to mommy and daddy and we love you so very much. You are our sunshine, our only sunshine, you make us happy when skies are grey.....

We can't wait to see you grow even more this year.

Almost 2 weeks

We can't believe that Madeline is almost 2 weeks old. At our dr apt on Wednesday, she was 9lb 3 oz-- giving her sister a run for the money. Here are some pictures of the girls.
